Gloria Dzekunskas, Program Assistant at the U.S. Dept. of Veterans Affairs, Silvis, Illinois, will give a presentation on the Rock Island Confederate Cemetery, Moline, IL. Rock Island Confederate Cemetery is the only surviving remnant of a massive prison camp that once held thousands of Confederate soldiers. Learn how this camp/cemetery came into existence and what happened to the thousands of prisoners held there.
