This month’s speaker is David W. Peterson, a member of BCGS, who has an extensive background in mathematics and computers. David’s presentation is entitled “Finding Ida: A Search for the Early History of Ida Person/Persson/Pierson/Pearson Bryant of Bureau County, IL.” Using family records of the Fundell family of Bureau County, Swedish parish records, and sources at BCGS, David established family connections between Pierson and Fundell families. He will include photos in his presentation.

David and his wife, Judith, now live in a house south of Princeton built in about 1856 by his 3rd great-grandfather, Austin Bryant, one of the four Bryant brothers who came to Bureau County.
